Just to share a small snapshot of the importance of these profits to our community;
Our businesses fully support Rama’s Community Farm, providing naturally grown vegetables and fruit for senior complex, daycare, school and food bank and for sale at Rama Country Market for our community.
This initiative goes beyond providing a much-needed food security and sustainable food source that is affordable for our members, it is a place of healing connection to the land and culture, and space for our most vulnerable members to work, providing a way for all to contribute to the community.
In addition, financial support is given to support our culture, recreation, youth, elder, and language programs that might not otherwise exist.
We recognize that investing in our people will yield the best returns to our community for the next 7 generations … and the profits from our business initiatives allow us to do that.
